​Jane creates intricate wire sculptures by hand, inspired by birds in their natural surroundings.  Each sculpture begins as a series of sketches, carefully focusing on the form and features of the bird.  Jane then uses several types of wire and a small selection of hand tools to create the final piece.  Once made, each bird is then carefully painted and mounted on a wooden base.
